Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 30, 2026. AllPlayer is developed by an independent developer and distributed on Apple platforms. This policy explains what information AllPlayer uses when you watch media, connect services, sync devices, or ask for help.

Privacy by design

Core playback does not require an AllPlayer account, and we do not sell your personal information. Most app data is handled on your device, by Apple services you enable, or directly between your device and a media source or third-party service you choose.

Information you provide

If you email playersupport.arco@gmail.com, we receive your email address and any text, screenshots, diagnostics, or other information you include. Connection-assistant reports are generated on your device for you to review before sharing. We use support information only to respond, troubleshoot, maintain, and improve AllPlayer, and retain it only as reasonably necessary for those purposes or legal obligations.

Local media and app data

AllPlayer may access files, Photos items, folders, downloads, disc images, playback history, favorites, watch-later items, settings, and information about your media to provide features you initiate. Local media playback, file management, stream caching, and media-center downloads are handled on your device. We do not operate an AllPlayer media server that uploads or stores your local media files.

  • Photos access is limited by the permission you grant in system Settings.
  • Downloads and cached media stay on the device and are not included when viewing progress and library information sync through iCloud.
  • Local-network transfer or receiver features may make selected content available to other devices that can connect to yours while you enable those features.

Connecting and signing in

When you connect a cloud drive, home server, or remote-access service, AllPlayer saves the address, account details, and sign-in information needed to use it. This lets you reconnect, browse your media, play or download files, and check the connection. Sign-in information is stored using the storage and protection features available on your device. Each service also handles information under its own privacy policy.

Google account and Google Drive data

You can choose to connect Google Drive. With your permission, AllPlayer reads your account name and email address to show which account is connected. It also reads your Drive folders and file details, such as names, sizes, and modification dates, so you can browse your files and play or download media you choose. AllPlayer does not create, change, or delete files in your Google Drive.

AllPlayer saves sign-in information on your device so you can stay connected. This information is not synced through iCloud. If you enable iCloud sync, your connected account name and email, media details, and viewing progress may sync between your devices. Downloaded media and playback caches stay on the device. When you choose to sign in on Apple TV using another device, the sign-in information is encrypted before being sent over your local network.

Google user data is used only to provide the connection, browsing, playback, download and device-sync features you choose. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising or credit decisions, or use it to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models. We do not permit human access to Google user data except with your affirmative consent, when necessary for security, to comply with applicable law, or as otherwise permitted by Google's Limited Use requirements. AllPlayer's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google data retention and deletion

Account information, file details, and downloaded media remain saved until you remove them. Signing out removes the saved sign-in authorization for that account on the current device. You can also stop AllPlayer from accessing Google Drive through your Google Account connections.

Stopping access does not automatically delete downloaded media, cached information, or data already synced to iCloud. You can remove these through AllPlayer and the relevant device or iCloud storage settings. Turning off sync does not delete data already synced; copies on other devices need to be removed separately. For help, or to request deletion of information you sent to us, email playersupport.arco@gmail.com.

Other cloud drives and NAS services

AllPlayer also supports OneDrive, Dropbox, Box, pCloud, Yandex.Disk, Baidu Netdisk, Quark Netdisk, MEGA, Synology NAS, and fnOS. You choose which services to connect. Depending on the service and permissions you grant, AllPlayer uses account information, folder lists, file names, sizes, dates, and other file details to show your media and play or download the files you choose. Access depends on your account permissions and the service’s restrictions.

AllPlayer saves the connection and sign-in information needed to keep these services available. Some connection information may sync when iCloud sync is enabled, as described below. The service provider handles your sign-in and file requests under its own privacy policy.

You can sign out or remove a connection in AllPlayer. Where the service offers connected-app controls, you can also revoke access in its account settings. Removing a connection does not delete files stored in the original cloud drive or NAS. Downloads, cached information, and previously synced data may remain and can be removed separately through AllPlayer and the relevant device or iCloud storage settings.

iCloud sync and continuing on another device

On supported devices, iCloud configuration sync is on by default. You can turn it off in AllPlayer Settings. It keeps connection settings, stream lists, viewing progress, favorites, and Watch Later available across your devices. For some services, saved sign-in information may also sync; Google Drive sign-in authorization does not. Apple handles synced information under its terms and privacy policy.

Handoff lets you continue supported playback on another device by sharing the information needed to resume. Links containing passwords or sensitive access information, and file locations available only on the original device, are excluded.

Apple TV and Apple Watch

When you use an iPhone or iPad to help set up Apple TV, the connection and sign-in information needed for setup is sent over your local network. Supported setup methods encrypt this information before sending it. It is used only for the connection or sign-in you request. Apple Watch exchanges media lists, artwork, playback progress, and control commands with its paired iPhone so you can browse and control playback from your wrist.

Movie and TV information

AllPlayer uses TMDB to find movie and TV descriptions, posters, and backdrops. Looking up this information involves processing your search terms or the movie or TV item being identified, your language preference, and network information such as your IP address. Video files and cloud-drive sign-in information are not needed for these lookups.

Third-party services

Depending on the features you choose, AllPlayer may communicate with Apple services; cloud, NAS, or media-server providers; Tailscale; OpenSubtitles; TMDB; video or stream hosts; and other sources you configure. These services receive the network and account information necessary to answer your request, including your IP address in ordinary network communication.

If you start an internet speed test, AllPlayer first uses Cloudflare's public speed-test service and may use Measurement Lab (M-Lab) as a fallback. M-Lab retains and publicly publishes measurement data under its privacy policy for Internet research. A remote-server speed test reads data from the selected server and does not upload a test file to it. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy and M-Lab's Privacy Policy.

Purchases and diagnostics

App distribution, purchases, refunds, and purchase restoration are handled by Apple. Apple may also provide crash reports and limited diagnostics such as device model, operating-system and app versions, time of an error, configuration, and crash details according to your device settings. We use diagnostic information only for troubleshooting, reliability, and app improvement.

Data sharing and security

We do not sell personal information. We share or enable access only as needed to provide a feature you request, use platform and service providers described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, or protect rights and security. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet, local-network, or electronic-storage method is completely secure.

Children, rights, and choices

AllPlayer is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, request portability, or withdraw consent for information we control. You can revoke system permissions, disconnect services, turn off iCloud sync, or remove local app data through the app and system Settings. Contact us for requests concerning information you sent directly to us.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as AllPlayer changes. The effective date above identifies the latest published version. For privacy questions or requests, email playersupport.arco@gmail.com.
